…knock ’em down.  As big a fan as I am of good skyscraper construction, a 32-story skyscraper implosion will always get my attention.  This happened this week in Frankfurt, at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University.  We can argue about the preservation of a middling bit of skyscraper brutalism (the tower’s impending demolition seems to have inspired exactly no calls for saving it), but…yeah, this was a truly elegant piece of demolition work.
