I’ll be giving a lunchtime talk at the CAF on Wednesday, 19 Sept., at 12:15 entitled “The Wind Must be Looked After, How Lateral Bracing Influenced Two Generations of Chicago Skyscrapers.” It will include new images and research on the Monadnock, as well as a comparison with wind bracing techniques in postwar Chicago skyscrapers. Free, open to the public, and you can bring a sack lunch. Hope to see some AF readers there…
Looking forward to it.
